The committee of the St. Patrick's Parade Society would like to thank all those who turned out in great numbers for our Town Hall meeting on Sunday 28th September. It was most gratifying for us to see such a concerned and enthusiastic attendance. The thoughts and suggestions expressed will be taken into consideration and acted upon as deemed appropriate by the committee.

The community was loud and clear on their support for a parade next year. The real work now begins on how we can channel this support into tangible actions through fundraising, volunteerism etc., to help put next year's parade on a solid footing so that we can plan for the longer term.

2008 Parade Sets New Attendance Record!

Based on estimates from local media and emergency services, the 2008 Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade set a new record of 300,000 spectators.
