Community Parade Entries
One of the features of the Toronto St. Patrick's Parade that makes it more Irish than most is the participation of our local County Associations and other Irish community groups; such as the GAA, Durham Irish Association and Emerald Isle Seniors.
Over the years, the city has seen some fantastic floats, conceived and constructed by creative and talented groups. They have seen the pride displayed by hundreds of marchers decked out in their County colours. It is this participation that sets the Toronto St. Patrick's Parade apart from all others, including Montreal, New York and Chicago.
Any Irish community group wishing to participate in the Parade should visit our Community Entries page of our website for details on how to get involved.
Community Sponsorship Program
During the early planning stages for the 2006 Pararde, we were encouraged by the number of Irish-related businesses who offered their support for the Parade. There was, however, a common question. How?
Our solution was to formalize many of the ideas used for past parades and create a package of sponsorship plans that made it easy for potential sponsors to support the Parade and defined the promotional benefits they would receive in exchange.
Our Community Sponsorship Program was launched under the theme of "Made In Canada .... With Irish Parts". The program consists of 6 different sponsorship plans covering the Parade and the Grand Marshal's Ball. Please visit our web site to view the details of the Community Sponsorship Program and help us keep the parade as your parade.
We would like to thank the newest members of our Community Sponsorship Program and ask the community to support them in whatever way they can.
Charge Your Parade Support
We have made supporting your Toronto St. Patrick's Parade easier than ever by adding Visa and MasterCard as a way of paying for your membership, raffle and dance tickets, and other fees.
