On Saturday, March 15, 2008 the Annual Grand Marshal Ball will welcome and honour this year's Parade Grand Marshal - Sean Murphy - President of IrishTravel.ca.

The Grand Marshal Ball will be held at the prestigious Arcadian Court in the Simpson Tower at 401 Bay Street (at Queen St. West). For almost 75 years, this historic and prestigious venue has been making special events in Toronto that much more special.

This gala black-tie evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm to be followed by a sumptuous full course dinner and live entertainment by Hugo Straney and The Par 3.

Those with the "Luck of the Irish" will love the Silent Auction featuring an assortment of valuable items going to the highest bidders as well as the Grand Marshal Raffle for a deluxe trip to Ireland courtesy of Air Transat and Tourism Ireland.

Tickets

Tickets are only available in advance and must be ordered by Sunday, March 9, 2008. The price per ticket is $125. Tables can be reserved for groups of 8 for $1,000. Take advantage of our Early Bird offer and save $100 off a table for 8 if booked and paid for by March 4.

Parking

For those who will be driving to the Grand Marshal Ball, we recommend the underground parking facility at Nathan Philips Square which is only a 2 minute walk from the Simpson Tower. Access to parking is off Queen Street opposite the Sheraton Centre.

Accommodations

For those wishing to spend the night downtown after the ball, we recommend the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen Street West. The Sheraton is a very short 2 minute walk from the Arcadian Court and directly across the street from the Parade Review Stand.
