Photo Albums - 2007 Parade
The skies were clear and even with a slightly below normal temperate the 2007 Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade drew a huge crowd out to watch the 20th Annual procession of green through the downtown streets of Toronto.
Led by Grand Marshal Dave Devall, over 20 Irish Community Organizations, a dozen marching bands and a large contingent of members of our Canadian Armed Forces, the Parade drew an estimated 300,000 spectators out to celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland and to welcome spring to the GTA.
We would like to congratulate the following Irish Community organizations for their fantastic efforts in promoting Irish Heritage in the GTA and recognize them as this year's Community Awards winners:
- Best Entry Overall - County Cork Association
- 2nd Place Float Entry - County Kerry Association
- 3rd Place Float Entry - O'Connor Irish Heritage House
- Best Marching Entry - County Tyrone Association
