Common Questions & Answers

Got a question about the Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade? Have a look through this listing of the most common questions we receive. If you still can't find the information you need, please give us a call or send us an email using our Feedback Form.

What happens if the weather is not the best?

The St. Patrick's Day Parade goes off as scheduled regardless of the weather. Remember, the Irish are a hardy lot and while one of the best places in the world to visit, Ireland is not known for its beautiful blue skies and tropical breezes.

How do I or my family become part of the Parade procession?

The Parade consists of registered entries only and is under the direction of our Parade Director. If you would like to be in the Parade procession and are of an Irish background, we strongly urge you to contact the County Association that relates to you or, one of the other Irish Community groups that may be participating. You can get a directory of the Irish Community organizations in the Greater Toronto Area by clicking here.
